Medical Gas Accreditation
Medical Gas Accreditation (MGA, LLC) is a recognized third party accreditation agency which meets the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17024 International Standard. The certifications issued by MGA are in accordance with the ASSE Series 6000 Standard and meet the requirements of the NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities Code and the NFPA 55 Compressed Gases and Cryogenics Fluids Code. The certifications are valid for three (3) years from the date of issuance. Renewal of the certifications can be accomplished by completing an approved recertification course that meets all of the requirements of ASSE 6000 and completing a written exam with a passing score.
Training
MGA does not provide any training. Per ASSE 6000 we are a third-party credentialing agency providing exams to prove competency after students complete the appropriate training course. We work with various training agencies that provide the actual course content needed for the ASSE 6000 certifications.
